RMS Transports began its operations about thirty years ago. We at RMS Transports seek to be pioneers in logistics by being on the front lines of innovation and technology. With over three decades of experience and strong leadership, RMS Transports has grown tremendously with a wide and trusted customer base.
The founder, Mr. Marappan, led a very humble life, but he did not limit his dreams. He laid the foundation for RMS Transports. It is often said that with every new generation comes an epoch of new innovations. And so did it happen with his son Mr. Namakkal Selvaraju. He started his career as a driver in RMS Transports and soon learnt his purpose. He set out on a mission to develop the idea into an organisation providing great customer satisfaction. The legacy continues with his son Mr. Ashokraju.
Mr. Ashokraju majored in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from University of Texas, Dallas, USA. He soon understood that there was a tide of change heading to the logistics industry with new technology. After gaining four years of experience in the logistics industry in America, he returned and took RMS Transports into his hands.
RMS Transports, looks ahead, into a brighter future with rejuvenated staff, smart technologies and an intelligent leadership.

1988
Our humble beginnings
Mr.Marappan started the business with one LPG Tanker. He laid the foundation for the business with strong fundamentals - deliver cargo safely, on time, everytime.

1995-2000
First expansion (35 LPG trucks)
Mr.Selvaraju expanded the business by taking the fleet size from 1 to 35. We catered to the cargo needs for Oil & Gas companies in Indian public sector. We had established ourselves as a trusted partner among our clients in South Indian states.

2015-2016
Vertical expansion (General Cargo)
Mr.Ashokraju joined the business starting as an Operations Manager. Later, he grew to become the CEO. We added container trucks to our fleet. We started catering to the general cargo needs of our partners in South India.

2016-2018
Pan India expansion
We added 70+ trucks taking the total fleet size to 150. We started to cater customers pan India.
